Mark’s Finest Papers

I will be the first to admit that I am coloring challenged.  I do so admire those individuals who can color and make images look so real and beautiful.  But alas, I am not one of them.  So my card creations today involve no coloring, but this is such a beautiful image that I think it can stand alone on these cards.  (NOTE: You can click on each image if you want a larger view).

I don't have the best photography training, so my cards are just a bit on the dark side. The brads on this card are holding a thin strip of vellum.

The second card I covered with a thick layer of UTEE and then "cracked" the image for a distressed look.

Thank so much for stopping by my blog today!!

Both of your cards are lovely. I admire that you did the cracked glass. If have never been able to conquer that particular technique.

Beautiful cards. The first card is unusal in the use of the newsprint behind a flower. I definitly like the idea.

You did a great job on both cards....I don't think you have to worry about not coloring them - your layout on that first one more than makes up for that. Beautiful. TFS

Welcome aboard, Lillian!! Both cards are absolutely beautiful. I'm usually scared of coloring, too, so it was wonderful to see what you did with these images. You did a super job! I especially love the first one where you stamped on text. What a fantastic look!!!

Congrats on the DT spot Lillian! Your cards are cool - like the text background and the cracked glass technique on the second card - I have tried this before, it's tricky!
