I couldn't decide which was the better photo, so I posted to photos of the same card. And the "bow" on the circle "world" is actually a sailor's knot, but it's hard to tell with the twine I used.

Very nice interpretation of the sketch
Great job. I love the nautical theme. I couldn't begin to think how to tie a nautical knot, but good for you. I think I prefer the top photo, but the bottom one may be more true to actual colours.
This is one handsome card Lillian!! Great work!! I love that cute pink school bus in your header too!! We homeschool so I tease the kids all the time and say our school bus can be any color we like...and I like it pink!! I'll have to show them yours!!
