Mustard Chicken Sunday

And all these years I thought french-fried onions were only for green bean casseroles.  Who knew?  Here is a quick and tasty chicken recipe that we had for dinner last night.  THREE ingredients.  TRULY!  And fabulous results.  Even without covering the dish, the chicken was SO moist!  Try it sometime soon - you won't be disappointed!

Ingredients

4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts

1 cup prepared mustard

1 large can French-fried onions

Directions

1.Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

2.Place mustard in a shallow dish or bowl; place onions in a second shallow dish or bowl. Dredge chicken in mustard to coat both sides, then dredge in onions. Place coated chicken in a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking dish.

3.Bake at 375 degrees F for 60 minutes or until chicken is cooked through and juices run clear.

Ooo, sounds so scrumptious and easy! What's not to love about mustard, onions and chicken!

I made a super easy and delish slow cooker pot roast last night...you should try it!

2 cans 99% fat free mushroom soup
2 package onion soup mix
1 can beef broth
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup red wine
sprinkling of Italian seasoning (or dried oregano) and crushed dried Rosemary
splash of Worchester
2 Tbs cornstarch
Mix all together in crock pot.
Brown 4lb pot roast in olive oil. Add to crock pot. Cook on high 3 hrs.
It makes it's own gravy that is fantastic! So easy, so good! I served mine with baked potatoes and fresh veggies.

Thanks for sharing your recipe!
